The BCF is part of BASRECCS\u2019 long-term strategy to foster full-scale development of the climate change mitigation technologies carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) in the Baltic Sea Region. The aim of the BCF 2022 is to enable interested and engaged stakeholders to meet, discuss, share knowledge and experiences, and develop projects. Increase awareness about Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) among younger generations with aim of securing a sustainable future for all.<\/p><p>The BCF2022 will therefore invite relevant experts from the BSR and neighboring countries, including policymakers, financial institutes, industry representatives and academics for sharing experiences, discussion and brainstorming to identify gaps for expediting the deployment of a large-scale CC(U)S project in the Baltic Sea Region (BSR).<\/p><p>\u00a0The speakers will be invited to :<\/p><p>a) Inform about the current situation regarding the development of CC(U)S and related technologies in the BSR;<\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-dea41e4 ); letter-spacing: var( --e-global-typography-b2ce6af-letter-spacing ); word-spacing: var( --e-global-typography-b2ce6af-word-spacing );\">b) Present and discuss the regionalization of ongoing and finalized projects;<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-dea41e4 ); letter-spacing: var( --e-global-typography-b2ce6af-letter-spacing ); word-spacing: var( --e-global-typography-b2ce6af-word-spacing );\">c) Present the ongoing and potential future cooperation and networking on CC(U)S and related technologies.<\/span><\/p><p>Baltic Carbon Forum is part of BASERCCS\u2019s long-term strategy to foster large-scale development of Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) in the Baltic Sea Region, as a critical carbon dioxide reduction technology for climate change mitigation.<\/p><p>If you are a student and would like to participate or present in the session, please express your interest by sending in an abstract latest by 15th of August.
